Geocache Description:


To solve this Mystery Cache
you will need to do 4 things :

1. Complete the Adventure Lab titled "Yard Art" and gather the digits associated with the 10 letters, a thru j.

You can use your phone's native QR code scanner
to open this Adventure Lab in the Adventure Lab® mobile app
or click on this link to get the Adventure Lab app and/or the Yard Art Adv. Lab.


(You will need the Adventure Lab app installed on your phone to do the Adventure Lab and get the digits, a-j.)

2. Put these digits into their respective squares (a thru j) in your sudoku grid and then solve the sudoku.


(FYI: the gallery has a "Print Version Yard Art Worksheet" to help you out)


3. Enter the digits from the solved sudoku squares (R thru Z), into the 9 equations below to generate the missing digits in the final coordinates (A thru I).

A = R - 1
B = S + 1
C = T + 1
D = U - 1
E = V - 1
F = W - 1
G = X - 1
H = Y - 1
I = Z - 1

4. Plug your answers, A thru I, into their corresponding spots in the final coordinates.

(8/11/2021 - We have added the five Adventure Lab locations as Virtual Waypoints for this Mystery cache. You can use the Navigate button in the Geocaching app to show you all of the needed coordinates to complete the Adventure Lab and thus this puzzle cache.

The posted coordinates are near one of these waypoints and are a good location to park for one of the Yard Art Adventure Lab stops.

You must use Geocaching's Adventure Lab app to complete the Yard Art Adventure Lab and garner the starting numbers for the sudoku.

Don't forget to bring your own writing utensil.
