Eclipse 500
One of the most fascinating stories in all of aviation is that of the Eclipse 500 jet, which was the ultimate private pilot’s dream. With six seats, weighing just 6,000 pounds but capable of 41,000 feet and 370 knots, it seemed too good to be true. Its development and promotion, headed by Vern Raburn, took many years, cost a billion dollars and left hundreds of would-be owners out hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece. After all was said and done, Eclipse went bankrupt, but the airplane survived. The new company has earned a production certificate for the Eclipse jet. It now does everything Raburn always said it would.
This cache is 1 in a series where you will collect codes in the caches and plug them into a formula to find a final bonus cache. It is not mandatory that you find all of them.....unless you want to log the BONUS!

This cache is hidden in The Vern R. Campbell Park. Hours are dawn to dusk. The trails can be overgrown at times, water up to your knees covering the trail, blood drawing thorns, and there is a bridge along the way that you might want to navigate carefully. At the time of placement, there was a porta potty on location, but no guarantees that it will be there during the winter months. Hunting is not permitted at the park, but be aware of your surroundings in the woods during hunting season everywhere you go. Please be respectful of the Remote control flying club and their field.
Remember, this is the woods....If you are intending to hunt for the caches or explore the trails, please come prepared with boots/old shoes (not sandals or flip-flops), long pants, and insect repellent. In the woods there is: poison ivy, ticks and mosquitoes a plenty! Due to the changing seasons in Michigan, the D/T may vary at different times of the year.
You must physically sign the log to claim the find so, BRING YOUR OWN PEN.Failure to do so may result in the deletion of your log. We do check occasionally. The cache started with a pen and SWAG but, no guarantees that it will be there! If you take something.....leave something. Please trade fairly! You WILL encounter water/mud, Thorns, Ticks and tall grass while hunting this cache! This is not your typical park. Sometimes the grass is not mowed, the trails are flooded and there are thorns everywhere
