This is a short walk around Lascelles and lower Kirkheaton that can easily be completed in a couple of hours.
It is mostly on footpaths through fields except for a short section 'to get across town'. It is possible to drive some bits and walk the rest but its pretty painless to do it all in one. I recommend parking by the church/pub as the walk will naturally bring you back there.
This is my second local series and it was nice that my son help me plan the route and place the caches - some are tricky and he was particularly sneaky with one - so if you are wanting to find a dozen 35mm tins at bases of posts I suggest you try a different series.
I apologise that they are mainly micros but there is a good variety to keep it interesting.
As every series has to have an "under rock at base of tree" we thought we'd get it over and done with right at the start. If you have any TB's this is probably the only one you will be able to put one it
Good luck and enjoy the walk. There are some great views accross the valley especially in the middle section and quite a few nearby other caches if you wish to walk a bit further.
