Welcome to this Community Celebration Event to celebrate 20 (now 22!) years of geocaching
and, if all goes to plan, my 10,000th geocache.
The event will be held outdoors, at the bandstand in the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton.
Saturday 14th May 2022, between 10am and 12noon.
Come along and meet fellow friendly geocachers, exchange tales of your adventures and bring trackables to swap and discover. Whether you're new to geocaching or a regular event-goer, everyone is welcome. There's a good selection of geocaches to be found in Buxton, so feel free to drop by if you're making a day of geocaching in the area.
The Pavilion Gardens, opened in 1871, show off the Victorian splendour of the spa town of Buxton. Set in 23 acres of magnificent landscaped gardens, there's a miniature railway, boating lake and children's play areas alongside the main building complex, with retail arcades, galleries and tea rooms. Entry is free to the gardens and the bandstand is situated near the main promenade.
