Während einige der Geocaching Community am 20. August 2022 in Seattle verweilen um dort den 20. Jahrestag von Geocaching zu Feiern, lade ich euch ein, zusammen mit mir an einem weiteren Highlight dieses Tages mitzuwirken.
Der 20. August 2022 ist der Tag, an dem das Headquarter aufgerufen hat, gemeinsam den
⭐ Geocaching-Weltrekord ⭐
aufzustellen.
Dazu treffen wir uns um 17:00 Uhr bis mind. 19:00 Uhr am Jungfernstieg Hamburg, um uns über unser gemeinsames Hobby auszutauschen, sowie eventuell mitgebrachte TB's zu tauschen oder zu discovern.

Welchen Rekord versuchen wir zu brechen?
Wir versuchen, den Rekord für die meisten Entdecker (Geocacher und Abenteurer) zu brechen, die an einem einzigen Tag einen Cache-Fund, einen Adventure Lab oder einen Event loggen. Der aktuelle Rekord wurde am 11. August 2013 von 126,833 Geocachern aufgestellt. Wenn es gelingt, am 20. August einen neuen Rekord aufzustellen, wird rückwirkend jeder Geocacher und Abenteurer, der an der Realisierung des neuen Rekords mitgewirkt hat, vom HQ mit einem speziellen Souvenir belohnt. Der 20. August 2022 ist auch der "Internationale Geocaching-Tag", an dem ihr ebenso bei einem "Found It", "Attendend" oder einem gefundenen "Adventure Lab" ein neues Souvenir erhaltet.
zu Covid19 (SARS-CoV-2):
Regeln für die Teilnahme am Event: Das Event findet unter den zum Zeitpunkt geltenden Pandemie-Maßnahmen statt. Genauere Informationen entnehmt bitte der Seite der Stadt Hamburg. Sollten sich hierzu kurzfristig Änderungen ergeben, werde ich euch diese per Announcement mitteilen. Generell wird ein Mindestabstand von 1,5 Meter zu anderen Eventteilnehmern empfohlen, wenn dies nicht möglich ist, wird das Tragen einer Mund-Nasen-Bedeckung empfohlen. Ebenfalls würde ich euch bitten nur teilzunehmen, wenn ihr keine Krankheitssymptome habt. Ein Test vorab ist immer gut.
Der Eventowner bestätigt, dass die Verordnungen des Bundeslandes und gegebenenfalls Landkreises gelesen und verstanden wurden. Ebenso ist sich der Eventowner seiner Verantwortung zur Einhaltung der rechtlichen Vorgaben für öffentliche Veranstaltungen bewusst.

Even though some community members are staying in Seattle on August 20, 2022 for celebrating the 20th anniversary of “geocaching“, I invite you to join in on one more highlight of the day and celebrate together with me.
For August 20th, 2022 we are all called up by the Headquarter to set a new
⭐ Geocaching-world record ⭐
We’ll meet at 5pm until 7pm at the “Jungfernstieg“ in Hamburg to talk about our hobby, discover or exchange TB’s with each other.

What’s the record we are trying to break?
We’re trying to break the record for most explorers (geocachers and adventurers) logging a cache find, Adventure Location or an Event in a single day. The current record has been in place since August 11, 2013 and was set by 126.833 explorers. If we are successful in establishing a new record on August 20, every geocacher and adventurer that helped set the new record will be retroactively awarded by the Headquarter a souvenir a few days after August 20. It’s also “International Geocaching Day“ when you’re receiving another new souvenir for every “Found it“, “Attended“ or “Adventure Lab“.
Covid19 (SARS-CoV-2):
Rules for participating: The event will take place under the Corona-Virus restrictions at that time. More information can be found on the following website: City of Hamburg. I will make an announcement if there are any short-termed changes regarding these restrictions. In general, a minimum distance of 1,5 meters to other event participants is recommended. If this is not possible, wearing a mouth and nose cover is recommended. You’re only called to take part if you don’t show any signs of infection. A test in advance is always a good idea!
The Eventowner confirms that any available restrictions, either by the country or state, have been read and understood. The Eventowner is also aware of its responsibility to comply with the legal requirements for public events.
