The breakable pinecones are strictly decorative & do play a part, but don't need to be touched other than just feeling them. The locking device on the house can be opened in two ways, the bypass instructions are at the bottom of the page. You will notice a wooden dowel underneath the key slots. This will quietly "click" when the key is inserted into its correct positioning while turning. Once you hear that, it is a matter of keeping the key there while inching the dowel slowly downwards off the magnet into your hand. Please replace with the yellow markings skyward

Skeleton Key retrieval via keychain TOTT instructions: The house plays like the old board game "Operation" where you have to remove items without touching the sides. The key is magnetic and will reveil itself once you attract it from its closet space.
