Pump It Up is a 1978 song by Elvis Costello that originally appeared on Costello's second album This Year's Model. The song was written as a sarcastic response to Costello's time on the Stiffs Live Tour which had been notable for its debauchery. Musically, Costello has stated the song was inspired by Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues.
DETAILS: Best to park in the burger joint parking lot. This cache is a simple field puzzle. First you must figure out how to open the top, then just do what Elvis Costello says to access the container with the log ("Pump it up, when you don't really need it, Pump it up, until you can feel it"). And you can't be too slow with it either - give good and fast try (but don't be a brute and break the thing!). Of course, please put it all back as found before you go. Thanks and have fun!
