Dunn Loring, VA was founded in 1886 by General William McKee Dunn and George B. Loring, a former congressman and Commissioner of Agriculture. A railroad station and post office were built along what is now the Washington & Old Dominion railroad. The land area of Dunn Loring is only about 1 square mile.
The cache is hidden in the woods adjacent to the Dunn Loring Green (labeled Dunn Loring Fairgrounds on the geocaching map) and W&OD trail. It is in a plastic peanut butter container wrapped in duct tape Good luck!
