This is one of our "public caches", you are looking for a 3"x 5" "Lock and Lock" container painted camouflage green. This cache is hidden along a stretch of the Pettenwell "Ditch" that is best known for being a hot spot to hunt waterfowl, particularly wood ducks.The Troop has another cache in the area that is located in what was best known for trout fishing, however this area and going about a mile forward is completely crazy during duck hunting season. Therefore please try to avoid looking for this cache in October. The good news is that this is a beautiful area with running water and birds and all kinds of wildlife. Please practice CITO. If you are lucky enough to find, please sign our log and trade trinkets. When you are finished please reseal the log in the zip-lock and make sure container lid is on tight to keep dry.
