This is the first of two series of caches. The first part of the route was inspired by the walk that we can now take to reach out grandson, Felix, hence "Felix bound". This is a lovely path with good views.
There is some overlap with "Meopham Madness" so for those who have already completed this loop there will be some gaps betwen caches but the path is a pleasant walk anyway. Caching routes that only go one way are, for obvious reasons, unsatisfactory. Completing a return route was more difficult and the paths are not as good and there is even more overlap with "Meopham Madness". We have named the return route "Felix rebound". The complete route is about 5 miles round and consists of 21 new caches.
For those who have not done "Meopham Madness" there are further options of doing either the eastern or western parts of the route and cutting across at Meopham Madness #9 and #11.
Although the caches were devised as a circular route from New Ash Green for most cachers it is proabaly better to start with Felix rebound as there is more parking available in Meopham. There is not much satisfactory parking near to #01 Felix bound. Overall we hope that you will enjoy the route and the range of cache containers and hides.
The series starts with what I hope is a well disguised cache.
