Geocache Description:

Placing some geocaches around the area. Mead Rd. has several ATV/UTV trails cutting through it. These trails are owned by the largest land owner in Nassau. Please be careful of the riders. Also on Mead Rd. is the Dewey Loeffel Landfill. In the !950's and 60's this site was used as a disposal facility for more than 46,000 tons of hazardous wastes. This caused the pollution of Nassau Lake.
