I chose this location because it is near two of my favorite places in Lincoln Square: Sulzer Library and Welles Park.
The library is named after Conrad Sulzer (1807-1873), a pioneer settler of Ravenswood. He was a Swiss immigrant who arrived in Chicago in 1836.
The park is named after Gideon Welles(1802-1878), a member of President Abraham Lincoln's cabinet. He was also Secretary of the Navy from 1861 to 1869.
You can find this geocache at this Dead End about 5 feet above ground. It is not magnetic. Can you find it?
Congrats to jmsantafe for being the FTF!
