We like to lament Melbourne’s public transport system, but, to be honest, there's much I'm grateful for about it.
Indeed, have you ever wondered at how far bus shelters have come in Australia or even how diverse they can be?
This cache is in honour of those who work in public transport and I hope to especially capture photos of bus shelters (and or bus drivers, if they permit you) from around the world. If you’ve been places and seen things, feel free to contribute to the photo gallery of bus shelters from around the city, country or world. But please ensure that these photos are yours.
This cache is too small to include a pen, so please bring your own. This Bus 734 stop is right across the road from Ashwood High School, I highly recommend that you do not attempt this cache during school peak hours.
And please replace it such that it will be securely "attached" and not become dislodged too easily. I'm running out of you-know-what to keep replacing this too frequently.
This bus route operates between Glen Waverley Train/Bus Station and Glen Iris Railway Station. So yes, you can get to it by public transport.
A massive play space is being developed at Electra Park which is half a km away. From what I can see, it is going to be huge and I’m sure it’ll be an enormous success when it opens up.
