[P&F] Altino il vecchio museo Multi-Cache

Questa mistery ti farà visitare un luogo denso di storia della civiltà, dove ogni reperto ha 2000 anni. 

Altino (Altinum in latino, Αλτίνον in greco antico) era un'antica città localizzata nell'attuale comune di Quarto d'Altino, in provincia di Venezia.

Antichissimo insediamento paleoveneto, dopo la conquista romana si evolse in un importante scalo commerciale grazie alla posizione sulla Laguna Veneta e al passaggio di alcune importanti arterie stradali.

Di Altino resta oggi un'interessante area archeologica con un museo annesso. L'odierna Altino, frazione di Quarto d'Altino, è invece un minuscolo centro rurale sorto in tempi recenti.

Le origini

Come testimoniano i reperti, il territorio di Altino era frequentato sin dall'VIII-V millennio a.C., tuttavia bisognerà aspettare l'Età del bronzo (XV-XIII secolo a.C.) per arrivare a una presenza umana stabile.

Un vero e proprio centro abitato fu fondato dai Paleoveneti all'inizio del I millennio a.C.. Dalla fine del VI secolo a.C. Altino rappresentava ormai un porto di notevole importanza, tappa obbligata per i traffici mercantili che collegavano gli empori di Spina e Adria alle aree settentrionali.

Di questo periodo non si conosce ancora molto. Probabilmente, Altino non aveva una fisionomia urbana unitaria e comprendeva più nuclei costituiti da capanne poggianti su dossi; come era consueto nelle città paleovenete, le necropoli si sviluppavano attorno all'abitato, quasi a circondarlo^.

La cache si trova all'nterno della piazzetta che è il sagrato della chiesa. Posizionatevi alle coordinare indicate e innanzitutto ammirate la piazza e poi dirigetevi alla vostra destra guardando la chiesa verso l'ingresso del museo.

1. Alla destra della porta troverete un'urna con due vaschette, proseguite verso il ponticello di legno che sovrasta la ricostruzione di una strada romana e proseguendo vi troverete in una piazzetta. Qui contate i frammenti a terra (n -6 =A)
2. Tornate all'ingresso del museo. Sulla sinitra fronte alla porta inizia un corridoio coperto con dei reperti archeologici. Contate il primo gruppo di steli appese al muro (n -8 =B)
3. Proseguite verso l'angolo del corridoio e contate le steli all'angolo a destra della chiesa (n -9 =C)
4. Continuate e troverete il portone della chiesa, contate le lettrere sopra al portone(n -2 =D)
5. Contate i simboli a lato del portone (n -2 =E)
6. Continuate e contate le steli appese al muro all'angolo a sinistra della chiesa(n -9 =F)

Posizionatevi alle coordinate

guardate la chiesa e contate 11 passi a sinistra e ancora 7 passi a sinistra e troverete la meritata cache.

Ricordati che oltre ad essere un museo questo è un luogo sacro. Vi trovate nel sagrato di una chiesa, rispetta le aree e mantieni un comportamento decoroso e civile.

This mistery will take you to a place full of the history of civilization, where each exhibit has 2000 years of history. Altino (Altinum in Latin, Αλτίνον in ancient Greek) was an ancient city located in the current municipality of Quarto d'Altino, in the province of Venice. An ancient paleoveneto settlement, after the Roman conquest it evolved into an important commercial port thanks to its position on the Venetian Lagoon and the passage of some important road arteries. Altino remains an interesting archaeological area with an attached museum. Today Altino, a hamlet of Quarto d'Altino, is instead a tiny rural center built in recent times. The origins As evidenced by the finds, the territory of Altino was frequented since the VIII-V millennium BC, however it will be necessary to wait for the Age of the bronze (XV-XIII century BC) to reach a stable human presence. A real inhabited center was founded by the Paleoveneti at the beginning of the first millennium BC. From the end of the VI century BC Altino was now a port of considerable importance, an obligatory stop for the commercial traffic that connected the emporiums of Spina and Adria to the northern areas. Not much is known about this period. Probably, Altino did not have a unitary urban physiognomy and included several nuclei consisting of huts resting on bumps; as was customary in the paleovenete cities, the necropolises developed around the inhabited area, almost to surround it.

The cache is located inside the square which is the churchyard. Position yourself at the coordinates indicated and first admire the square and then head to your right looking at the church towards the museum entrance.

1. To the right of the door you will find an urn with two trays, continue towards the wooden bridge that overlooks the reconstruction of a Roman road and continuing you will find yourself in a small square. Here count fragments on the ground (n -6  = A)
2. Return to the museum entrance. On the left in front of the door begins a corridor covered with archaeological finds. Count the stems hanging on the wall (n -8 = B)
3. Proceed towards the corner of the corridor and count the stems to the right of the church (n -9 = C)
4. Continue and you will find the church door, count the readers above the door (n -2  = D)
5. Count the symbols next to the door (n -2 = E)
6. Continue and count the stems hanging on the wall on the left corner of the church (n -9 = F) 

Position yourself at the coordinates

look at the church and count 11 left and again 7 on the left and you will find the well-deserved cache.

Having found the chache, we recommend that you close it well and hide it as you find it.
