Inter Dominion is one of the biggest harness events on the racing calendar for harness racing. Starting back in 1936, the event has since continued and is rotated between 6 tracks in both Australia and New Zealand, with South Australia's very own: Globe Derby Park being one of them.
The event is usually held over two weeks with multiple qualifying rounds before the final grand race which is 2,400m or greater depending on a standing start or behind the barrier. In recent years the lead horse prize money has recorded over 600,000.
