Frolicking Muskrats on Black River
During a peaceful day of Paddling on Black River with the WLGC crew, I decided to place a few cache of my own. What a great place, we should all have a chance to paddle this river.
The name for these caches comes from our sights during this paddle.
On route, we saw two baby muskrats, playfully splashing and wrestling in the river's water. While we watched, nothing was cuter then these two frolicking Muskrat pups.
THEN, a muskrat realized I was watching, swam away from the other, directly towards me, and coming to within a couple of feet, as if to say: "Back off Buddy."
Maybe it wasn't frolicking, maybe it was a bullying situation, and we stopped it!
This is a letterbox cache, that contains a self-inking stamp. Please do not remove the Stamp. (That’s a long paddle just to replace the stamp)
Anyway, enjoy your paddle!
