I'd love to say there is an effervescent and rich history around the local area, but I don't believe any of it is relevant to this road. California in England is a good reading topic as it had a tramway and motorbike track which sadly are no longer in existence, but the area provides a fairly nice wander and a good Parkrun for those that way inclined 
A fairly common style suburban cache located in the most likely place when you're stood at the corner of a road! I make no apologies regarding the awful pun in the name.
Be aware that the road is exceptionally busy around school time and nice weather.
