Blakemere can be located just outside of Ellesmere on the way to Whitchurch. There is a small car park from which you can walk down along by canal, or you can follow the towpath from Ellesmere and through the long dark tunnel.
The geocache can be found a short way off the main towpath between the canal and blakemere itself. The geocache looks out over a viewpoint/jetty which looks lovely in the spring and summer months as there are yellow water lilies growing nearby. The geocache is a small Tupperware box and hidden close to the base of a tree trunk.
