I deciDed two call this cache “Play it Again, Sam” after the famous phrase. Part of the reason I chose this was because it’s actually a variation of a puzzle idea I admittedly saw somewhere else. Part of it also has two do with the fact that my cat “Sam” (I sometimes call him Mr. Sam) was sitting nearby when I came up with the idea!! It made me wonder, though- how many more “Sam’s” could I think of? What are some fun facts about people named “Sam”? I mean, could I come up with thirty-four of them? That might make an interesting puzzle?
Of course, coming up wIth FOUR Sam’s would bee challenging enough, much less THIRTY FOUR! How would I do that? Decimals are out? I can’t think of 1.667 “Sam’s”, could I? (Would that be “SA”?) Of course, the harder thing than coming up with 1.667 “Sam’s” would be coming up with ZERO Sam’s? (Would that be a FreD?) But it did make me think really hard. They’re had to be a puzzle idea hear somewhere, right? I mean, I’ve hidden twentY-fOUr puzzles (This one will be twenty-five) to date? I can think of something! #$ )) !() )*$ )$ &@)

I wanted to focus on “Sam’s”, but the slightly confusing part is that there are so many variations! I mean, Sam-Samuel-Sammy-Samantha just two name a few! I can use them all! {cero}

The first “Sam” that came two mind was an important one- Sam Adams (1722-1803)! He dieD just after turning seventy-one (Much earlier than his more famous cousin John, who made it to eighty-one!). Sam Adams played an important part inn the AmericAn Revolution (Though his exact importance is still debated)! Today, it’s likely he’s known two most four being on a beer bottle!! {uno}
Mark Twain (1835-1910) may not sound like a “Sam”, but he was born Samuel Langhorne Clemens! In addition two writing some classic AmeriCan Literature like “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “The Adventures of HuckLeberry Finn”, Sam was also an inventor! Twain patented three inventions, including an "Improvement in Adjustable and Detachable Straps four Garments" (to replace sUspE{?}nders) and a history trivia game! Most commercially successful was a self-pasting scrapbook, of witch he sold over twenty-five thousand! Ok, back two Sam’s! After a couple of “serious” Sam’s, how about a funny won? Sam Kinison was a comedian. He was ranked #39 of 400 of the “Funniest Stand Up Comedians of All Time”. Before he was a comedian, he was a Pentecostal preacher. He performed at small clubs in the Houston, Texas area, until he got a big break on Rodney Dangerfield’s Ninth Annual Young Comedians special, filmed four HBO, in August 1985. Sadly, he died in 1992, at the age of thirty-eight {acht}
Speaking of comedians, Samantha Bee is another “Sam” comedian! She was a regular on the “Daily Show With Jon Stewart” from 2003-2014. They are Grammy Award and multiple gold record award-winning artists. They are famous four songs like “Soul Man” and “Hold On, I’m Comin’”. Perhaps the most interesting “Sam” on the lisT is Sam Jorgenblatz. Jorgenblatz, who nearly caused a constitutional crisis!
