Geocache Description:

This is a cache in the Insecta Series. Each cache is related and when the series is completed hints in the cache can lead you to an additional mystery cache.

This cache is named after a bug which is quite interesting to look at. This bug's elongated snout, hosts chewing mouthparts instead of the piercing mouthparts like other insects. The mouthparts are often used to excavate tunnels into grains. These insects are almost entirely plant feeders, and most species are associated with a narrow range of hosts, in many cases only living on a single species. (Wikipedia).
