Geocache Description:

COVID-19 REMINDER: as is ALWAYS a good idea for Cachers, please make sure you avoid touching your face whilst you are caching – and make sure you wash your hands thoroughly (and/or use hand sanitizer) as soon as possible – to reduce the risk of catching/spreading the Coronavirus.

With ‘Less Keen’ becoming absolutely ‘Not Interested, never mind Less Keen’ – I (Keen) decided that it was time to try and deploy some of the assorted cache containers which have been overflowing in my bedside drawer for around three or four  years, waiting for my Geocaching ‘partner’ to have an epiphany.  (In truth, I knew it was never going to happen – but they say that all good things come to those who wait?)

I had NO idea how hard this would be!  With a number of other caches in the locality, almost every likely ‘spot’ turned out to be within a disallowed radius of another cache or waypoint.  I somehow managed to slot this one in and it can certainly be incorporated into some lovely circular walks – with or without other caches - around the fringes of Little Cornard and the Gt. Cornard Country Park.

Set during the early ‘phased release’ from the COVID-19 ‘lockdown’, the caches is not ‘hard to find’ – and there is no ‘specific’ point of interest just here, but the whole area is beautiful to walk around – especially on a lovely sunny day! This cache may just add a little incentive to those cachers who would simply like to  add another smiley face to their caching map whilst making the most of the Government authorisation for taking exercise (more than once per day, if desired!)

In addition to being watchful for any odd cars (or any of the Suffolk Essex Border cyclists!) on this little country lane, you may need to be stealthy at GZ as this cache is snuggling up with a lovely old tree on the bend in the road, overlooked by the top floor windows of a nearby house.  The cache shouldn’t be hard to spot and you are looking for a reasonably large screw-top tub with camo; containing a number of ‘swap’ items and a log, this one is large enough for most TBs, Travel Coins and exchange items.
