Mir ist aufgefallen, dass dieser Cache schon deutlich länger nicht gepflegt wurde, deaktiviert ist und/oder nicht gefunden wurde, als nur "ein paar Wochen", wie es die Richtlinien von Geocaching.com vorsehen.
Auch wenn Geocaching.com den Platz vorübergehend für dich reserviert und damit andere Caches in der näheren Umgebung fernhält, so kann dies letztlich nicht auf Dauer geschehen.

Im Interesse aller Cacher bitte ich dich um zeitnahe Pflege und Reaktivierung des Caches innerhalb der nächsten 30 Tage. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist könnte das Listing durch einen Reviewer archiviert werden.

Bitte gehe folgendermaßen vor:

  • verfasse nach der Wartung bitte jeweils einen Log vom Typ „Owner maintenance“ UND "Enable Listing" um den Cache wieder als „gewartet“ und auffindbar auszuweisen
  • oder archiviere den Cache selbst per Log vom Typ "Archive" wenn Du Dich nicht mehr darum kümmern kannst / möchtest, bitte in diesem Falle an eventuell angefallenen Geomüll denken (z.B. Zwischenstationen von Multis).

Bitte poste regelmäßig (spätestens alle 4 Wochen) Statusinformationen zum Cache und (falls absehbar) den geplanten Aktivierungszeitpunkt als kurze Note im Listing. (bitte keine Mails dafür verwenden!).
Das ist wichtig damit:

  1. Der Cache nicht mangels Rückmeldung archiviert wird.
  2. Alle Suchenden über den Zustand des Caches informiert sind.

Hello Bulzik!

I noticed that this cache has not been maintained, deactivated and/or not found for significantly longer than just "a few weeks" as per Geocaching.com's guidelines.
Even if Geocaching.com temporarily reserves the site for you and thus keeps other caches in the vicinity away, this ultimately cannot happen permanently.

In the interest of all cachers, I ask you to maintain and reactivate the cache promptly within the next 30 days. After this period, the listing could be archived by a reviewer..

Please proceed as follows:

  • please write a log of type "Owner maintenance" AND "Enable Listing "** after the maintenance to show the cache as "maintained" and findable again
  • or archive the cache yourself with a log of type "Archive" if you can't / don't want to take care of it anymore, in this case please think about possible geo garbage (e.g. stopovers of multis).

Please post regularly (at least every 4 weeks) status information about the cache and (if predictable) the planned activation time as a short note in the listing. (please do not use mails for this!).
This is important so that:

  1. the cache is not archived for lack of feedback.
  2. all searchers are informed about the state of the cache.

Haltet nicht auf der Autobahn – der Cache ist von der Autobahn aus definitiv nicht zu erreichen !!!

Do not stop on the highway - the cache is definitely not accessible from the highway !!!

Hier führt die Hörscheider Talbrücke über den kleinen Bach „Seifen“. Die Brücke über euch ist 170 m lang und bis zu 22 m hoch. Auch wenn der Bach mit nicht mal 2 km Länge sehr klein ist, so fließt sein Wasser dennoch von hier über den Maubach, die Lieser, die Mosel und den Rhein bis zur Nordsee :-)

Den Cache findet ihr in Nähe des Ufers, allerdings etwas höher…verlasst euch hier besser nicht auf das GPS, sondern auf euren Instinkt. Da es hier schon zahlreiche DNFs gab, noch der folgende Hinweis. Ihr sucht keinen PETling, sondern etwas Kleineres !

Nach dem Loggen baut es bitte nicht mit Gewalt wieder zusammen – andere sollen die Dose auch noch ohne Hilfsmittel bergen können!

Dieser Cache ist Teil der Runde „Lärm und Stille“ – um den Bonuscache zu finden, benötigt ihr die Buchstaben-/Zahlenkombinationen von den Metallstreifen. Notiert euch diese und lasst die Metallstreifen bitte in den Dosen.

Here the ‘Hörscheider Talbrücke’ leads over the small rivulet ‘Seifen’. The bridge above you is 170 m long and up to 22 m high. Even if the rivulet is not very long (less than 2 km), its water still flows from here over the Maubach, the Lieser, the Mosel and the Rhine to the North Sea :-)

You will find the cache near the rivulet, but a little higher ... better not rely on the GPS, but your instinct. As there have been numerous DNFs here, I will give you the following hint: You are not looking for a PETling, but something smaller!

After logging, please do not use force when you put it back - others should be able to recover the container without any tools!

This cache is part of the circular route “Lärm und Stille” (Noise and Silence) - to find the bonus cache, you need the letter/number combinations from the metal strips. Please write them down and leave the metal strips inside the containers.
