Ghost bikes are small and somber memorials for bicyclists who are killed or hit on the street. A bicycle is painted all white and locked to a street sign near the crash site. They serve as reminders of the tragedy that took place. The first were created in St. Louis, Missouri in 2003. Currently there are over 630 ghost bikes that have since appeared in over 210 locations throughout the world.
This ghost bike commemorates Timothy Holden, a businessman and former Navy Seal, who was killed in an accident here.
It's a multicache because it allows the hide to be a short walk away, as respect to the memorial precludes hiding something on it. The puzzle is meant to be VERY EASY, The hide is NOT FAR from the bike, and the hide is ON THE WAY BACK FROM THE BIKE TO THE PARKING WAYPOINT.
- How many letters in the bike manufacturer's name (shown on a small label on the frame with a flag)? Multiply that by 8 to get AB.
