Geocache Description:


In 1972 Willis Hordemann donated this two-acre piece of land to the city of Moscow for development as a park. Today the entire park consists of 2.34 acres. The pond, which is fed by an underground spring, comprises .78 acres and has an average depth of 3 feet with its deepest point being 5 1/2 feet.

A variety of wildlife inhabits the pond. A trail around the pond has been developed so that you may become acquainted with its residents.
