MAGC-13 "The Big Red One" (1980) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

pwesleynd93: I decided to go ahead and archive this cache. It was broken up pretty badly by mischievous muggles and I don't have time to repair it correctly. Perhaps I'll replace it with another cache sometime in the future.

Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed in association with the NoVA Chapter of the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC). We normally have a monthly event nearby, but those are on hold for the foreseeable future. This will be a quick find but you will have to solve a simple puzzle to unlock the box containing the log. Of course, you need to sign the log in order to claim it as "Found". Be sure to bring your own writing instrument. There is some room for swag and TB's.

The combination to open the container is 0-5-8. The lock does not pop open. After entring the combination, you have to slide the cable over a bit. You will need reasonably good color perception in order to solve the puzzle. If this will be a problem for you, message me and I will give you the help you need.

It is available 24/7 and parking is available right next to GZ. You'll be partly screened from muggles, but be stealthy because it is close to a busy restaurant and a hotel.

I hope you enjoy this cache. If you haven't found the others in the MAGC series, they are all fairly close by so please take the time to check them out.

Congratulations to  berningc for the VERY FAST FTF. I think it was only 18 minutes after posting!
