Geocache Description:

I owe my love of the outdoors to my parents. I grew up in Sunnyvale, and I came to Rancho San Antonio dozens of times with them when I was a teenager. We hiked many of the trails here, and also in nearby Stevens Creek park. One of our favorites was the PG&E trail. I miss my parents a lot these days, and wish they were still here. Thank you mom and dad for introducing me to hiking and this park, and for helping instill in me a deep appreciation for all of the beautiful open space around us.

My parents didn't want a big deal made out of them, but hopefully a simple geocache on a trail they loved is ok.

The cache: From the main trail, take the big side trail NW about fifty feet. When you see the red and white staked fence, leave the big side trail and proceed SSW. See the hint for more.

Bring your own pen capable of signing a Rite in the Rain fanbook. Coordinates are the average of three measurements. Please re-hide the cache as you found it so that it stays in place.

Congratulations to chrisfawcett1 for the FTF!
