Geocache Description:

NICE TO KNOW

  • parking is available around the perimeter of Francis park
  • park hours 7am-10pm
  • this is a traditional small cache and it contains only a log so bring a pencil or pen
  • Please respect the tree when looking for this cache, (do not pull on bark or branches)
  • long arms would come in handy:) or a foot stool

If you park or walk into the park off Donovan street you will approach this cache by first passing by a grove of pine trees. Take time to enjoy the soft pine needles under foot.  Thank the pine trees for the shade they provide.  Look at the surrounding fairy houses scattered at the bases of the pine trees.  Ask permission from the fairies before entering their fairy village.  Once you enjoy the delightful little fairy house creations go straight in to the park and find a tree that has a number of down branches.  It grows despite it's fallen limbs.  The trunk stands tall and branches reach to the clouds. We can learn from this tree and not focus on our shortcomings.
