Welcome to the Central Virginia Geocaching Society's little corner of the Adopt-a-Highway world! This is the brainchild of jofro62 and lindawawa and is home to regular CITO events throughout the year. Central Virginia geocachers have been taking care of this stretch of highway since 2020.
As to the First to Find, this is where this cache got fun! I scheduled this cache to publish on the day of one of the CITOs right as a group of cachers gathered at ground zero to take a picture of this sign with one goal. The end result was a group FTF for everyone there! It was a little treat for them as they embarked on 3 hours of work to remove 15 bags of trash from a mile and a quarter of Airport Road. And they are: cyberelect, grandad24, jofro62, LindaWaWa, NPGlenn, postal17, Smileysquad, vabreeze. Congrats to all on the FTF!
