Well, COVID-19 has caused quite a deal of disruption but now as the restrictions on gatherings are being relaxed, it is possible to hold an event within the current guidelines. So, let's gather and share how we have managed the lockdown period and our plans for the coming months and beyond.
Why "Breaking The Ice"? It is winter but more importantly, we can now gather and share each other's company for the first time in a long time.
Where: We will be holding a BBQ lunch at the Shelter Area at Bells Parade. We will provide sausages, bread, some salads and some drinks. If your dietry requirements are not met by these items, please bring your own lunch
When: Saturday 4th July from 12:00 to 13:00
Given the COVID-19 requirements of having 4m2 for each person, we will be able to cater for up to 16 people in the selected area but we can move into an adjacent area if more cachers attend.
To help us for both catering and space requirements, please indicate in your Will Attend log the number of people coming. All members of your family are most welcome and there is a playground and grassed area adjacent to the shelter area.
We look forward to catching up on Saturday 4th July at noon. If other commitments prevent you staying for the duration of the event, come along, even if just for a few minutes.
