Over the past few months, I have walked these country lanes a lot, thanks to the COVID lockdown.
The highlight of my walk is a sit down with a cuppa and a biscuit in the grounds of the little Saxon church, St Nicholas at Boarhunt. Do take time to find it, It's a lovely place for a bit of quiet reflection or just to address the challeges of your day.
I have wanted to place a cache like this for some time. I have classified it as small (a bit bigger than a 35mm film case) and it will only hold smally bits and bobs. Please bring your own pen. Please use the cord to access the log container. It will be obvious when you see why.
At the time of placing, it contained:- The log (in a poly bag): Gift for FTF: 2 flip flop pen "ornaments" : Finger ring.
The cache is placed on the edge of Ashleydown Lane, although this is a country lane, it can become quite busy, so be aware of vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
From here you can access the caches around Boarhunt, including the Boar Hunt series.
