From this point, if you started from Meopham and want a shorter route you can return via Felix Link A and B to pick up the Felix bound series at #04 or you can continue the Felix Rebound route which continues with #05 Felix Rebound.
Either way, the path through Elbows Wood could become very muddy - even in July the ground was quite soft.
At N 51° 21.610 E 000° 20.216 you will find yourself almost leaving Elbows Wood. Here the path appears to split with the most obvious path continuing straight on. At some time in the past year this path was blocked off with barbed wire as it is not the official footpath. I notice that recently someone has cut through this barrier but, for your information, the official footpath branches off to the left and over a stile into a field. From here you turn to your right (and over another stile) if taking the route to Felix Link A and B or turn to the left towards #05 Felix Rebound.
