This geocache is one in a series of 20, as part of Knox City Council's Knox Nature Discovery Passport (KNDP). The passport showcases 50 Bushland Reserves and Parks around Knox, 20 of which contain geocaches. In each of the caches there is a different stamp which can be used to stamp the passport.
Llewellyn Reserve is located on a reclaimed brickworks site. It includes playing fields constructed on clay fill, and the perimeter of the reserve, particularly the north-east corner, retains native vegetation and a number of significant species.
