Geocache Description:


 

This geocache is one in a series of 20, as part of Knox City Council's Knox Nature Discovery Passport (KNDP). The passport showcases 50 Bushland Reserves and Parks around Knox, 20 of which contain geocaches. In each of the caches there is a different stamp which can be used to stamp the passport.

 

Lakewood Nature Reserve consists of open space, significant bushland and a retarding basin. This reserve is completely surrounded by residential development and forms a wildlife sanctuary for many water birds and possums.
