Geocache Description:

Some fences are meant to keep things in, and some are meant to keep things out. And sometimes a fence isn’t big enough to do either one. But it can still be used to help hide a cache.

When I first saw this location, I noticed numerous opportunities to hide a nano and make this one of those caches that would require either a special TOTT, a psychic connection to the CO, divine intervention, or a lot of luck to make the find (although I have the TOTT’s, I generally seem to lack the others). I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that kind of cache, I know plenty of cachers that thrive on those kinds of challenges. But I have enough frustrations in my life already. So, I decided to go the other way and make this a larger cache where TB’s and swag could be dropped and traded. Those kinds of caches seem to be more and more rare these days, especially in urban areas like this. Only time will tell if I made the right decision.

This is essentially a park and grab. It may not be very winter-friendly, if we get much snowfall, but it is in a somewhat protected spot so hard to really say. I'm not going to mark it either way, at least for now.

Huge shout-out to BugBug for providing the painted rocks that currently fill the cache. I hope each of the first several cachers will take one (and leave their own swag) and place them in other far-flung caches.

Congratulations to jackcat14 and AKLoisandClark on co-FTF, and Freeweez on close second!
