Geocache Description:

The is a bonus cache for the Christchurch Aviation Adventure Lab cache. It takes you on a short walk around some historical sites near CHC (Christchurch Internation Airport). The final location is not far from where the adventure lab finishes. A couple of the locations comemerate the close connections between CHC and Antartica. The totem pole is very interesting, with one animal representing American airman who made the first South Pole supply drop, and another representing sailors who opened sea lanes to Antarctica.

Collect the five answers for the lab cache (A to E) and then work out the location of this cache using the following formula:

South 43 29.DBC East 172 33.(B-2)AE

The checksum of A to E is 32.

The cache location is not too hard to get to. Hanging, head-ish height, tucked away out of sight from passers-by.
