Sir Ector bol šľachtic a rytier, ktorému kúzelník Merlin zveril Artuša, keď bol ešte malé dieťa. Artuš vyrastal a vedel, že Sir Ector je jeho otcom, a Ector zostal bezradný, pokiaľ ide o pravú identitu mladého Artuša. Sir Kay bol tiež synom Ectora a Kay a Arthur vyrastali spolu ako bratia. Sir Ector vždy zaobchádzal s Artušom ako so svojím synom a naučil ho slušným spôsobom, až kým Artuš nevytrhol meč z kameňa a potom nezískal svoje právoplatné miesto ako kráľ.
Sir Ector miluje Camelot tak ako svojho nevlastného syna kráľa Artuša. Nadovšetko! Akurát, keď si v krčme vychutnával svôj obľúbený jačmenný nápoj, začul ako sa pri vedľajšom stole rozprávajú traja lukostrelci. Snažili sa len šepkať, ale Ector mal vždy dobré uši. Započul, že sa v okolí Camelotu potuluje niečo, čoho sa bojí aj veľký čarodejník Merlin. Bolo mu to čudné, lebo ani Artuš nič takého nespomínal. Keď nad tým trošku pouvažoval, až teraz mu prišlo divné, že sa pri Okrúhlom stole už dlhšiu dobu neukázali Sir Lancelot ani Sir Gawain. Musí zistiť čo je vo veci ! Nasadol na koňa a vybehol cez hradnú bránu zistiť viac... Pomôžte Sirovi Ectorovi prehľadať okolie Camelotu!
