My husband grew up around here. At some point before or after he was born, they stopped working the stone at this quarry and let if fill with water and fish. My husband remembers fishing in there when he was little. Then, they drained it and started using it as a quarry again. When the water was drained, they found a lot of different things including a stolen vehicle and some ATVs.
Rumor has it, it’s the best stone in Ohio!
