Phoenix series
This series of caches are the revival and rebirth of some of the many caches that have been archived from the North Drove, The Inbetweeners and Monkeying around Tickenham that were Placed by treboryetsna.
Having Adopted these great sets of caches with lovely walks from treboryetsna it is my intension to replace as many of the lost caches as possible and to try to keep the original themes and locations but some of the locations are not possible and new one’s will be found.
Phoenix (Don't chicken out)
This was number 3 in the series Monkeying around Tickenham but has been relocated to this new location due to conflict with another cache near it's old roost.
Due to local fox infestation this poor chicken has fled the moors for higher ground and is now hidding in a hole in a tree.
You will need to creep up quietly behind him and grab his legs but dont expect him a come out quietly and please put him back carefully but firmly no matter how much he protests (but make sure there is nobody around) and replace his coop door so the foxes don't get him.
If you approached from east then make sure you carry on to the top of the hill about 100m away for the most fantastic views you will have seen for a long time. then on to Monkeying around Tickenham #9 Shillelagh if you haven't done it. Or if going the other way then carry on down hill to the east for #10 pining for a cache.
