This multi-cache is on the Gardiners Creek trail. The estimated walk is a bit less than 1 km. The cache should take around 30 minutes to find. You are looking for a green ammo can with a code lock on it. This is my first multi-cache hide and it is a nice walk along the trail to get to the cache. Please be careful as there are plenty of muggles however the cache area is sort of hidden from the trail. Bikes and dogs are allowed. There is a pen inside.
Stage 1: Here, you will find a sign next to a tree. You will need to answer these questions.
A = The number of letters in the suburb listed at the bottom of the sign and then subtract 1
B = The number of letters in the top name of species and then subtract 3 from it.
C = The number of letters in the type of gum tree (Gippsland ................ Gum).
Stage 2: Here, you will find a sign outlining the name of the nearby park as well as a notice board up ahead.
D = The number of letters in the suburb listed below and then subtract 1.
E = The number of letters of the name of the park (not including the word park) and then add 1
F = number of keyholes on notice board (Hint: look on both sides) and add 1
Stage 3: Here you will find a black bridge. To get the code for the lock, you will need to count the number of straight metal posts on the bridge and then multiply by 9. The cache is less than 50 m from this location.
