At 3 years old, Amelia is my eldest and I recently introduced her to geocaching. While she is still a bit too young to really understand all the ins and outs, she knows it is a treasure hunt of sorts. Now, when go out, she asks if we can find a geocache.
Amelia comes in handy when we are geocaching. Park and playground hides are now a breeze. So are tricky, public hides. No one questions the curiosity of a little kid poking around.
On a recent walk, something piqued her curiosity. It seemed like as good a spot as any to place a hide. When I asked her what we should call it, she said, Amelia’s Geocache.
So here it is.
Note: The cache was moved from its original location on December 30, 2023 to where it is now, to prevent it from going missing so often.
