Jedną z atrakcji turystycznej sołectwa Gorzeszów jest Czarcia Maczuga. Ta forma skalna zbudowana z piaskowca ciosowego, wieku kredowego o wysokości 8 metrów, jest zwana Diabelską lub Czarcią Maczugą.
Legenda głosi, że w XII wieku kiedy cystersi budowali klasztor tak to rozzłościło diabła, który zamieszkiwał tamtejsze okolice, że postanowił go zniszczyć, zrzucając na niego głaz. Musiał to zrobić w nocy, zanim pierwszy kur zapieje, bo o świcie tracił moc. Gdy leciał z głazem w stronę Krzeszowa i był już nad Gorzeszowem wtedy koguty zaczęły piać i diabeł upuścił głaz, który spadł nieopodal gorzeszowskiej karczmy. Stąd ludzie zaczęli go nazywać Czarcią Maczugą lub Czarcim Głazem.

Devil's Bludgeon
One of the tourist attractions of the Gorzeszów village council is Devil's Bludgeon. This rock form, built of 8 meters high Cretaceous sandstone, is called the Devil's Bludgeon.
Legend has it that in the 12th century, when the Cistercians were building the monastery, it angered the devil who lived there so much that he decided to destroy it by throwing a boulder onto it. He had to do it at night, before the first hen crowed, because it was losing power at dawn. When he was flying with the boulder towards Krzeszów and he was already over Gorzeszów, then the roosters started to crow and the devil dropped a boulder that fell near the Gorzeszów inn. Hence, people began to call him Czarcia Maczuga or Devil's Stone.
The plaque with the dates on the mace commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Nations at Leipzig.
