Flying over Eagle River Traditional Cache

SEASONAL CACHE - It is removed for the winter and spring and replaced at the end of May. The snow is too thick in this spot to find it. This flying eagle statue is the meeting place for Eagle River Twisted History Tours. The town of Eagle River and the surrounding Northwoods are full of history and great stories! If you live here then you know what a wonderful place it is and if you are visiting, be sure to enjoy everything that the area has to offer! Did you know that Eagle River got its name when two people were canoeing down the lakes which at the time where more like rivers since the dams weren't in place and those two folks saw so many bald Eagles that they named the area "Eagle River"!
