During the Great Lockdown of 2020, we were only allowed to venture out for a one hour socially distanced saunter (SDS) per day. this became my walk before a day of working from home. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Follow the trail from the Bluebell Dell Cache. In the spring you will see the most amazing blanket of Bluebells but in the summer it is more akin to Fern Gully. Near the water you may also see beautiful yellow irises also known as Water Flag. This ancient woodland is made up of sessile oak, hazel, rowan, ash, birch, wych elm and willows. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot deer and foxes.
Please ensure the cache is tucked back into place and covered with the natural cammo.
