There are 2 bridges in the area that people suggest are the haunted Banwell Bridge. The online pics note the other bridge also known as Terror Bridge as one. Locals I know suggest this is the site of where mysterious things happen. After doing additional checking, I see on social media sites there's been conversations as to the correct one...
So..... I will leave the cache as placed & add another!!!
Then I will encourage cachers to check out both locations to determine which may really be haunted!
The location of Banwell Bridge is noted in books, Face book, newspapers, utube, internet searches, and word of mouth. It is the story of a "woman in white" & strange events. The most popular story surrounding this bridge has to do with a mom and three children. The trending story is that a woman brought her children to the bridge to watch the train pass below. However, when the train passed, the mother threw all three of the children over the bridge and watched as they were stuck killing them instantly. The mom then proceeded to throw herself over the bridge as well and died.
Visitors stop their cars on the bridge without locking their doors and windows.
Account of stories for decades tell of those who have exited their vehicles & reported seeing orbs, hearing voices, and even hearing a woman moaning beneath the bridge then finding hand prints on their cars. Odd things such as a woman in white jumping in front of your car and traveling through it, and other stories have been told.
This also tends to be a location teens over many years have brought a Ouija board to explore with. Most don't report abnormal situations till driving away.
