RockHoppers love rocks and cliffs. They like climb up and stand on egde of cliffs , at the slightest sign of danger they jump off with their powerful legs. They then deploy their wings to slow their decent. So getting a rockhopper is a very tough critter to grab!
Look along the north side of the trail no need to climb the cliff face!!!
