Welcome to Ouseburn Valley.
Ouseburn Valley is crossed by three bridges. In 1839 the railway viaduct was opened. A few years later in 1878 Byker Bridge was built. This was to carry road traffic. Finally in 1982 another viaduct was built for the new Metro system.
Down in the valley there are walks along the riverbank and through the woodland.
There is no need to go sliding down the banks.
Co-ords could be a bit jumpy.
