Tim's Trail is a nature walk that wanders along the Red Eye River at the edge of Sebeka. The beginning of the trail is at 401 2nd St SE; a sign marks the entrance. The trail was founded in 2004 in a bid to create more exercise-related possibilities for locals. Since then, it has become a popular spot for walking, biking, hiking, snowmobiling, and other activities. My grandfather, Calvin Thompson, and some other town people helped plt and clear the trail on property that belonged to the Rife family farm. This cache was placed with permission of Kim Rife.
Tim's Trail is, depending on which route you take, either half a mile or one and a half mile long. In the Spring the grass was still mushy and half-frozen. In the summer, however, it is a very pleasant leisurely walking trail. Trees line the whole way, and wildflowers pop up along the edges.
