Once upon a time there was a very large building here! Another victim of a hurricane I suppose. Probably Hurricane Carla from '61 which also took out the original pleasure pier before they built the Flagship inn, which also met a similar fate from Ike. The ruins look to be about 60 years old or so. There are large cement "columns" about and a smokestack on the shoreline. I spent some time here looking around and I hope you will enjoy this area too! The locals have already been here, but don't worry they won't find it! There is a dirt road that leads up to the woods, it is littered with holes but passable. There is also thick grass to traverse to reach the woods but once inside it is an open area. Be careful and Have fun!!
