Who can forget the iconic images of the F14 Tomcat from the movie Top Gun. The F14 was one of the coolest aircraft ever with its swing-wing configuration and the twin vertical stabilizers. Ironically it is highly unlikely that we will ever see a F14 ever again. After the aircraft was retired they were all destroyed to prevent any parts from being used by the only other country that owned that aircraft, Iran!
At the posted coordinates you will find the grave of the namesake of the F14 Tomcat, Vice Admiral Thomas F. Connolly.
