The Pickleball craze has come to Hounz Lane Park. If you are not aware of Pickleball, I'm sure someone you know has caught the addiction. Even former #1 rated geocacher Show Me The Cache abandoned his trusty GPSr for a Pickleball racket, until a devistating injury drove him back to caching. And that spunky Hoosier geocacher Lynn Davis, yep, she's been known to swat a few pickles as well. If fact, Lynn and cbarman hold the record for the highest pickleball score by a Geocaching team on these courts, when they lost a fiercely fought 11-1 battle with a couple of arthritic octogenarians.
The geocache IS NOT at the given coordinates, but it is a good place to stop and gather the information needed to determine where the geocache is hidden. To determine the final location, simply count the # of Pickleball courts and the # of tennis courts. The final location is;
N38° 16.(X+4)87 W85° 34.(Y-2)91, where X = # of pickleball courts and Y = # of tennis courts. Checksum of X + Y = 5.
The cache is a small plastic tube with log only.
